Think For Yourself
True stories about decision making and
surviving life's difficulties. This electronic book is written to be read outloud
to the young of all ages. Each of the twenty-two stories have lessons to teach
about the important life skill of decision making. Parents can read these stories
to their children, teachers to their students, youth workers to the kids they
help, or simply be read by students to each other. Discussion questions at
the end of each story will ignite meaningful interaction.
• Note TO THOSE
WHO GIVE MESSAGES Any of you reading this who weekly face the pressure to prepare
and deliver messages for students know that coming up with good stories and
illustrations that connect with kids is a huge challenge. Most of the chapters
in Think For Yourself contain true stories from my life and from my years as
a minister to students. Over the years I’ve used just about every one
of these stories as illustrations in messages to students.
Since this is an
electronic book you have the rights to copy and share the stories in each chapter.
